Concert is Tomorrow -April 8, 2011 in Fountain Valley, California from 2pm - 10pm - Corner of Edinger and Brookhurst - LAST YEAR, Viet Love 4 Haiti collected over $100,000. It is their goal to raise more for Japan.
Some of the biggest names in Vietnamese entertainment will perform this Friday at a benefit concert in Fountain Valley to benefit Japan’s earthquake and tsunami victims.
“Viet Anh, who also works in the local music industry, helped organize last year’s benefit at the same location for victims of the Haiti quake called Viet Love 4 Haiti, under the leadership of Premiere Productions CEO Robert Pham. The Haiti benefit collected $100,000, which was donated to the American Red Cross”
“Our fundraiser for Japan will be called Viet Love 4 Japan,” he said. “We’re hoping this event will be bigger and better than last year’s.”
Event information
The fundraising concert, Viet Love 4 Japan, will take place from 2 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Fountain Valley Town Center, 16157 Brookhurst St. A candlelight vigil is planned at the end of concert at about 10 p.m.
